I noticed on the Orange Mountain Music recording of Symphony No. 4 "Heroes" that Movement 1 was longer than the original Decca recording.

I have No. 4 on the Naxos label too.

Both recordings are excellent!

There was a large cut made to Movement 1 of Heroes Symphony on the original Point Music recording. It was somewhat restored in the Alsop recording of the symphony and fully restored in the recent Davies recording.

Last night, I watched the British Paraorchestra perform Glass' Heroes Symphony! It sounded great.
